Hal and Gillard

More previz for something I'm starting.

The kid (Hal) as a character that is often misunderstood or ignored by others altogether. The only friend he has to talk to is Gillard, a giant and very lazy horned sea turtle that he frequently visits after a rough day. Hal usually treats Gillard to a bundle of seaweed and the occasional repair to the turtle's horns or nose to accompany his friendly talks. Although Gillard is generally unresponsive (turtles don't talk), Hal often gets his best ideas and inspiration from him.
